Good news to all sakura lovers! 🌸 The Japan Meteorological Corporation (JMC) just released its 10th and latest 2025 Japan Cherry Blossom Forecast. The next update will be on 3 April 2025.

As of 27 March 2025, the earliest forecasted flowering date is March 23 in Kochi, while the last forecasted full bloom date is April 28 in Sapporo.
The capital city of Tokyo is expected to start flowering on March 24 with a forecasted full bloom date on March 29.
