2025 Japan Cherry Blossom Forecast: Map, Flowering & Full Bloom Dates
Good news to all sakura lovers! 🌸 The Japan Meteorological Corporation (JMC) just released its second 2025 Japan Cherry Blossom Forecast.
As of 23 Jan 2025, the earliest forecasted cherry blossom flowering date is March 23 in Fukuoka and extends up to May 2 in Sapporo.
The capital city of Tokyo is expected to start flowering on March 24 with a forecasted full bloom date on March 31.
