If you don’t want the hassle of inserting a physical SIM, get an eSIM like Airalo, Ubigi, or Yesim instead. Don’t forget to check your phone compatibility first before subscribing to any data plan.
A pocket WiFi in the Philippines is only good if multiple users need to share the WiFi. We don’t really recommend this as your first option when traveling around the Philippines, especially if you enter and exit from different airports since you have to return the pocket WiFi device.
