Mines View Park is one of the top tourist spots in Baguio City, the renowned Summer Capital of the Philippines. Many visitors add this famous Baguio attraction to their Benguet itinerary because of the breathtaking views and the sightseeing activities you can do here. There’s also a viewing deck overlooking the abandoned copper mines of the Benguet Corporation in Itogon.

Mines View Park is open daily from 6am to 8pm, but may be subject to change depending on weather conditions and other factors.
How to get there
Mines View Park is located on Outlook Drive in Baguio City in the province of Benguet in the Philippines. It takes about 5 to 6 hours from Metro Manila depending on your mode of transport. To get there, you need to reach Baguio City first.
From Manila
By car
From Manila, take the North Luzon Expressway and continue driving to SCTEX. Follow the Luisita Exit and continue to Mc Arthur Highway until you reach Kennon or Marcos Highway. Use Waze or Google Maps to help you arrive at Mines View Park in Baguio City.
By bus
Several bus companies take you from Manila to Baguio City including Victory Liner, JoyBus, and Pangasinan Solid North Transit.

From Baguio City
Once you reach Baguio City proper, you may take a taxi or jeepney to Mines View Park.
By taxi
From any point in Baguio City, you may hail a taxi which could set you back around ₱200 if you ride from the central business district.
By jeepney
To save on transportation costs, you can take the jeepney bound for Mines View Park at the terminal on Lower Mabini Street and Governor Park Road Terminal. Jeepney fare is approximately ₱13.

1. See the breathtaking nature views
The first order of business here is to take in the beauty of nature. As it is a viewing point, you may use the telescope to see the scenic mountain views and the old mining town below.
