Kuala Lumpur Itinerary: How We Spent 2 Days 3 Nights
Two days were too short to explore the wonderful attractions in Kuala Lumpur, but we were still able to make the most of our getaway with our carefully drafted Kuala Lumpur itinerary.
2D3N Kuala Lumpur itinerary:
Day 1:
3:40 PM: Departure from Cebu
Our AirAsia flight was delayed by almost an hour due to the late arrival of our aircraft. We were supposed to depart at 2:45 PM but it was moved to 3:40 PM.
8:00 PM: Arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2)
We walked around 2-3 minutes from the arrival area to the immigration section. Whip out your important documents like passport and airline tickets before queuing at the immigration. KL immigration is fast and efficient. They won’t require you to fill-out an arrival form because they’ll just scan your passport and ola, you’re in!
We took the KLIA Transit from KLIA2 to Sunway Putra Hotel and arrived at around 10 PM. It was already too late to stroll around the city, so we had our late dinner at the nearby KFC and called it a day.

hi,
how much does it cost you for this trip? Thanks!
Hi Michelle,
We were not very keen on the total amount spent on this trip but I think our pocket money was only Php 13,000 (both persons) exclusive of our air fare and hotel. We stayed in a luxury hotel: Sunway Putra Hotel, so this is not really a budget-friendly trip. You don’t have to worry because you can save a lot on the cost of accommodation as KL has many budget inns and hostels. 🙂
Hi Charmaine,
Thank you for your correspondence. Very much appreciated! I’m thinking of following your itinerary. So, the 13k was spent for the transpo, entrance and food. Was shopping for pasalubong included?
Hi Michelle,
Yes, the 13k was spent on transpo, entrance, food and some souvenirs like key chains and chocolates. 🙂
Glad to know you’ll be following our itinerary. Please refer to my posts about Genting Highlands and KL Attractions for more details.
