On our Japan spring trip, we took the bus from Tokyo to Narita Airport when we headed home. But there are actually more transport options between Tokyo and Narita, depending on your budget, headcount, and preference.
Narita Airport to Tokyo by train
The train is the fastest way to get from Narita Airport to Tokyo. It only takes less than an hour to reach Tokyo via the Narita Express (N’EX) and Keisei Skyliner.
1. Narita Express (N’EX)
The Narita Express train, also known as N’EX, is a JR limited express train that takes you directly from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station in 53 minutes.

2. Keisei Skyliner
The Keisei Skyliner is a non-stop train that takes you directly from Narita Airport to downtown Tokyo. This is the fastest train from Narita to Tokyo, taking only 36 minutes to reach Nippori Station.

3. Local train
If you want the cheapest way to travel to Tokyo, you may take the local trains: JR Sobu Line (Rapid Service), Keisei Access Express, and Rapid Limited Express. However, they may take longer with multiple stops, and have no exclusive area to store your luggage. They could also get too crowded so it may be challenging to ride during peak hours.

4. Limousine bus
The airport limousine bus is a more convenient transport option from Narita to Tokyo, with stops in major stations, hotels, and tourist attractions like Tokyo Disneyland.
