7 Snow Attractions in the Philippines for a Winter Wonderland Experience
There’s no winter or snow in the Philippines. It’s a given fact, but as people who live in the tropics, we can’t help but dream of seeing and actually touching real snow. Fortunately for us, we already ticked that off our bucket list when we spent winter in Korea.
But to those who still can’t travel to winter destinations, these snow attractions in the Philippines will do for now. Ready your #OOTDs for the closest winter wonderland experience you could get in our tropical country!
Popular snow attractions in the Philippines
1. Snow World Cebu in Anjo World
First on our list is no other than Snow World Cebu, an attraction in Anjo World, one of the popular theme parks in the Philippines. The first of its kind in the Visayas, Snow World Cebu will let you experience the amazing world of snow and ice!

2. Snow World Manila in Star City
Layer up and prepare for an icy adventure at Snow World Manila in Star City, one of the oldest theme parks in the Philippines. Enter this freezing world with striking ice sculptures and the biggest snow slide in the Philippines!
While we are always eager to document our ice experience, cameras and gadgets are not allowed inside. You may, however, pay for photos from the official photographer.

3. Trails to Antarctica in Manila Ocean Park
Feel like you are actually in Antarctica at the Trails to Antarctica, one of the attractions of Manila Ocean Park. Get up close and personal with the cute Humboldt penguins and celebrate the yuletide season at their Christmas Village.

Places to try ice skating in the Philippines
Ice skating is a winter activity we always want to try when visiting winter destinations like Korea, Japan, and Australia. But now we don’t need to go far since we can already enjoy ice skating in the Philippines — just proceed to these SM Malls and skate away!
4. SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Ice Skating Rink
Our first-ever ice skating experience in the Philippines was at SM Mall of Asia (MOA)’s Ice Skating Rink located on Level 3 of the Main Mall. Did you know it is an Olympic-sized ice skating rink, making it the Philippines’ largest ice skating facility and one of Southeast Asia’s biggest?
We stumbled and fell many times on our first try, but we gotta get up. It may be intimidating at first, but you’ll get the hang of it in no time! Just trust your instincts and balance skills.

5. SM Megamall Ice Skating Rink
We haven’t tried ice skating at SM Megamall yet, but this one’s a good alternative if you are near the Mandaluyong area. You can find the ice skating rink on the 5th floor of Mega Fashion Hall.
Many celebrities have actually graced Megamall’s ice skating rink like Maine Mendoza (pictured above). Are you ready to show off your ice skating skills?

6. SM Seaside City Cebu Ice Skating Rink
SM Seaside City Cebu is one of the biggest and newest malls in Cebu, and the only one in the region with an ice skating rink found on the 3rd Level of City Wing. Last Nov 2023, it launched its newest ice bumper cars where you can collide with friends on the ice skating rink. You can also sign up for an ice skating class to learn the fundamentals of ice skating.

Attractions with artificial snow in the Philippines
7. Baguio Country Club Christmas Village
Every Christmas season, the Baguio Country Club in Camp John Hay opens its Christmas Village to the public. Visitors come here to see various Christmas trees, dazzling lights, cool characters, and of course, the artificial snow, completing the winter wonderland experience! But who needs real snow when Baguio’s freezing temperature will already make you feel like you are experiencing winter in the Philippines?
